File under "Your govt' does not care about you"

From AP:   White House Doubts Need To Halt All Foreclosures-   "A top White House adviser questioned the need Sunday for a blanket stoppage of all home foreclosures, even as pressure grows on the Obama administration to do something about mounting evidence that banks have used inaccurate documents to evict homeowners.  "It is a serious problem," said David Axelrod,... but he added, "I'm not sure about a national moratorium because there are in fact valid foreclosures that probably should go forward" "

A home foreclosure means a family is literally kicked out onto the street;  a lifetime of possessions placed on the front lawn.  It means for those not fortunate enough to have a family member or friend to live with, the family vehicle becomes the new bedroom, living room and kitchen.

For most people who have had to go into foreclosure, despite all the spin one hears on mainstream and financial news, it is not their fault.  It's the banks' fault. It is the fault of speculators and investors.  It is also government's fault.  And every day a family can stay in their homes is one more day of normalcy in their otherwise turbulent, stress-filled lives.

If you are to survive and thrive in this recession/depression, you must learn to make your money last and look to your self and those you care about for support.  For government really does not care about you or your survival.
