1) Business/employer has a need/goal which he/she can not achieve independently.
2) Job must possess tasks which can not be fully achieved using computers and/or machines; it must require at least some basic human involvement
3) Job must possess tasks which can not be practicably or logistically outsourced to other nations. Ex: plumber, roofer, dentist
4) Tasks must require a certain specialized degree of education/knowledge that not any common temp worker off the street could perform successfully.
5) Job must maintain enough importance to an employer that it is ongoing, rather than a temporary job under the heading "independant contractor"
