The "Lazy Sunbathers"

Just a quickie posing..  When I read about what's going on in Egypt today- Day 8 of the protests, and then turn on the financial channels to see the Dow finished the day +148 to close at 12,040, it just seemed to remind me of lyrics to a little-known Morrissey song back in the mid 1990's called "The Lazy Sunbathers"  which just seemed so apropos.

If you want to listen to the song, simply double click on it in the music player on right side of page- last song...

From the album 'Vauxhall & I':

"The Lazy Sunbathers"

A world war
Was announced
Days ago
But they didn't know
The lazy sunbathers
The lazy sunbathers

The sun burns through
To the planet's core
And it isn't enough
They want more

Nothing
Appears
To be
Between the ears of
The lazy sunbathers
Too jaded
To question stagnation
The sun burns through
To the planet's core
And it isn't enough
They want more

Religions fall
Children shelled
"...Children shelled ? That's all
Very well, but would you
Please keep the noise
Down low ?
Because you're waking
The lazy sunbathers ..."
Oh, the lazy sunbathers
