This Week in Public Apologies...

There used to be only two certainties in life:  Death & Taxes

Now in the modern world we all inhabit, there are actually three..

Death, Taxes & Apologies.

Every calendar week, if you pay attention to such things, you are guaranteed to see or read some person or entity in politics, sports, entertainment or the like, apologize for something or another..

Are the apologies ever sincere?
Ehh.. doubt it.  But they sure come in droves...

The political-correct terrorists demand it so we the sheeple (sheep people) oblige.

Besides, why let pride or perhaps being in the right get in the way of potential economic loss and the creation of public negative perceptions..

As 80's rap group 'Public Enemy' so accurately expressed in their song "Welcome to the Terrordome":

"Apologies made to whoever pleasin'; Still they got me like Jesus.."
So here are headlines where apologies were made to this or that for some reason or other, all done at some point between Oct 4th and today the 10th..
