CSA: The Complacent States of America

In military terms, there are few things more difficult and mentally stressful as a soldier than being a sentry; being the one responsible to keep an eye out for the impending attack by a superior force that is destined to arrive

When it does arrive in full force, oh the havoc it will wreck..

As the sentry keeps looking out into the horizon at the same open roads or clumps of trees while the clock tick-tocks into endless repetition of silence, the more draining the exercise becomes

Worse, the more utterly Lazy and Complacent those the sentry is trying to protect become.
And it gets to a point where the sentry changes from dreading the sight of the imposing enemy army to anticipating and actually Wanting the battle to occur if for no other reasons than because constantly being on-guard is Tiring and the need to say to irritating doubters "I told you so!"

And annoyingly that's the position A&G has sometimes been forced into.

It has been 6.5 yrs from Lehman Brothers and the stock collapse and even the economically poorest dum-dums have moved on..

A&G has been around for over 5 yrs trying to warn people it is all illusion
Nothing has improved for the better but most Believe it has or that it will very soon so for really the past couple years, its business as usual..  Hum-drum daily life of irrelevance resumed

It doesn't matter to people that more than 50% of all American workers bring home LESS than $30k annually or after adjusting for inflation, median household income has fallen by nearly $5,000 since 2007

Very few to none are concerned that according to the U.S. Department of Education, 33% of all Americans with student loans are currently behind on their student loan debt repayments or the rate of home ownership in the U.S. has been declining for seven years in a row, and it is now the lowest that it has been in 20 years.
As long as there are near-daily holidays to celebrate incorrectly, the reliability of sports schedules to provide nightly distraction and a million-billion movies to watch at a click of a remote on Netflix, then to most Americans, what's the big hubbub bub?

Its just harder and harder to get people to shake the Complacency drug.

One great difficulty it seems is getting people to stop accepting the Systemic Lie that 'its their fault' when prices go up while wages freeze or decrease.

There should be an ultimate raging against the machine, community grass-roots organizing and putting the continually corrupt Federal government on notice via loud and disruptive displays that their post-crash business as usual approach to help banks and corporations and super-wealthy was no longer to be tolerated.
A government that does not fear its people does not help its people.

Instead, people blame themselves and pathetically look for second and third jobs and go back to school and waste more years of their life while collecting more debt and cut back on every happiness and joy in this short, short lifespan..

That's one thing we give credit to Blacks..   Often their rage is misguided but unlike middle-class comfortable whitey, they have a very short fuse on certain things and many of them when provoked are not afraid to confront the enemy and go toe to toe, blow for blow..

Complacency is also an extension of fear, namely of losing 'stuff'
There is a famous saying -- "the possessions we accrue end up possessing us" meaning a person is much more likely to take the coward's path and not challenge authority or accept a level of continual victimization if there;s something can be taken by a greater power like a house or car

Or one's freedom.

Most people don't realize prison is a state of mind more than a physical reality.   Confinement among criminals is no fun but in honesty 'prison' is also being married with children and a dead-end job and bills up the nose; utterly trapped by the trappings of adulthood.

Complacency is a dangerous emotion to feel both on a micro (individual) day to day level and when it comes to the macro (the nation overall)
Today as of this writing, the Dow is at 18,172..  At its March 3rd 2009 low, it was at 6,547..

So that means in a span of 5 years, 2 months, the Dow has increased by nearly Triple!

Meanwhile the first time the Dow ever surpassed the 1,000 mark in our nation's history was sometime in 1981.

And we all know why.. And some of us are disgusted and some are happy because maybe they own 20 shares in Apple or McDonald's
But it can not last.. It will not last..  None of this wealth was build on a sustainable foundation..

It reminds us of Hurricane Katrina.

The blacks and liberals were so angry at President Bush and FEMA for what they perceived to be inadequate response to the devastation, and yet..

In the New Orleans area and nationally via the Weather Channel, the people of Louisiana and the Gulf region were warned of a massive hurricane directly striking their area for about a week prior to the event..
Most did not want to listen..  The sun was shining bright & blue skies all about..  Birds chirping in all directions..  La La La La...

And only in the last 48 hours did people start to take things serious and in a massive rush went to buy supplies and clog the interstates trying to escape

The people of the Gulf Region and "Chocolate City" as New Orleans' now imprisoned but then mayor described, got what they deserved..

They were Complacent.
And when the big economic crash occurs, it will be a mess from coast to coast for the same reason and complacency is exactly what the government and the true Bosses of this nation want..

It makes it much easier to control the populace while the nation's wealth is stolen into a select few..

We used to be the USA..  Now we are the CSA..
