Polling on Guns & the Prez: What silent Majority really think

~ Oopsie, we meant polling 'poll' not stripper 'pole'

Recently ABC News and Washington Post joined up together to take a poll regarding Americans' feelings on gun control, specifically regarding the banning of assault weapons..

And what we're sure to be their extreme displeasure, 53% of respondents were against banning vs 45% for, a 7% differential in favor of government not taking any form of gun away from the citizenry

A whopping 57% polled also expressed that they were Not confident the US government could stop a lone wolf attack.

Makes perfect sense..  When government pretends a perpetrator of terror can be anyone while intentionally ignoring the Muslim part of the equation, how are people supposed to feel confidence in their government
They certainly don't believe as much in President Oreo vs a month ago..

NBC and Wall Street Journal did their own poll regarding terror and Obama

His approval rating is down to 43%, the lowest its been in over a year..

In addition, 7-in-10 Americans believe the country is headed in the wrong direction -- the highest percentage shown in monthly polling since Aug. 2014.

In addition according to the poll reported in AOL, " 71% say the shootings and random acts of violence that have taken place this year -- from Charleston, S.C., Oregon and Colorado, to the terrorist shootings in San Bernardino, Calif. -- are now are now a permanent part of American life."

We can only hope people are wrong on that one..
What also was interesting was the following:

"Just 37% approve of the president's handling of foreign policy, and only 34% approve of his handling of the terrorist militants known as ISIS in Iraq and Syria.

In addition, only 20% of the public believes the country is headed in the right direction, versus a whopping 70% who think it's on the wrong track.

And 73 percent say they want the next president to take a different approach from President Obama's. "
People are very unhappy and scared about the direction this nation is heading especially regarding Muslim perpetrated terror and the President's refusal to both publicly state the obvious and his unwillingness to put boots on the ground in Syria..

Now polls can always change..  If no attacks occur on American soil in the next 2-3 months, most will forget and move on to other things and a nation that feels secure dramatically alters its national priorities

Problem is, the threat is always going to be there because its real..
Maybe its some Muslim student with a 4.0 GPA that everyone thinks is a great guy who shoots up his University, or a Muslim adult who gets along with everyone at work who stabs everyone in the office

Or maybe its a Muslim child who self-detonates him/herself in a mall or theater at the parents' insistence..

Who really knows?

Certainly no way at this moment to track them all
So you take the poll numbers provided here, add the surge Trump is enjoying by stating Muslims should not be here and a majority of Americans now want More government surveillance vs a couple years ago when Snowden made the news...

And you have a nation does not desire living in fear but finding themselves increasingly so based on what they see and read and the complete ineptitude of this Wall Street Democrat (as opposed to a Real Democrat) who won't offend his people..

Just 13 months left..  We promise, it goes by fast..
